Park Avenue State School
The grant would support Park Avenue State School to create an outdoor sensory garden that stimulates the five senses—sight, smell, sound, touch and taste—through thoughtful plant selection and interactive features. This inclusive space would help reduce stress, improve focus and support students’ wellbeing and development.
Frenchville State School
The grant would help Frenchville State School enhance playground facilities for Year 5 and 6 students, who currently have limited access to dedicated play spaces. Funding would support the creation of safe, inclusive, and engaging areas designed to encourage active play, social connection, and wellbeing for older primary students.
Rockhampton North Special School
The grant would support to improve Rockhampton North Special School's oval, a vital space used daily for student sport, physical activity, and outdoor play. Grant funding will help create a safer, more accessible and inclusive environment that supports students’ health, wellbeing, and opportunities to participate in active play and recreation.
